The funny thing is, no one even called me on it!
Last week, lots of people had "watermelon" in their guess, for the antibiotic-resistant staph bacteria.
So this week I went searching for "watermelon under microscope" - let me just say that's not a search you want to conduct if your "safe search" is off on Google Images...
Anyway, couldn't find any pics of the flesh of a watermelon under the microscope, but I did find a fascinating post where a photographer took us into a watermelon blossom. Each picture in the series got closer inside, until the petals were under a microscope, and that was one of the images I used.
